My thoughts and prayers are with Aaron and Tedi. I raced with Aaron at Seacoast in ‘04 and ‘05, and became friends. This guy has a special place in my heart, for all the times we hung out together. He is truly an inspiration to anyone who has been around him.
With Aaron’s heart and tenacity, I know he’ll find his way through this.
In 2000, I was a new guy on an Apilia 250 and all I wanted to do was beat Clarkie. He was the man on one of those bikes, but was always still willing to help me out in my quest to beat him. Just one of those guys with a great attitude about racing and the people racing with him. From that time on, we have always been great friends, whenever I would run into him at some track. Get well soon buddy….
Clarkie, Tedi, and Scott…
You are in my thoughts constantly. If there is anything I can do to help at any time- don’t even think twice about asking. Even if it is just some banana bread when you are ready for it Get well Aaron and hang in there Scott and Tedi.
Love, Holly and Thor
Clarkie, Mate what are you doing to me. I finally move to Colorado so I can whoop up on you and you do this. No fear Bro I have seen you have some pretty hairy get offs.(remember Speedworlds motocross track on Thanksgiving?) I plan to come see you as soon as they say it is ok. I will look often. I still have the check and the plate you gave me and autographed from the Aprilla Cup championship on my wall. My thoughts and prayers are out to you and your family. Cant wait to see you. If there is anything I can do please dont hesitate to ask. Love you bro!! Robert “fat bastard” Klein
Hey brother, been texting for 3 days with Scotty and the rest of the crew staying updated. Went through a bunch of good pics I got this season, behind the scenes stuff. I’ll bring them up to you. Coming up to see you soon, everyone has pitched in so much Aaron…you have an amazing network of friends.
You’ve helped me a ton over the last 2 years, whether you knew it or not. Your a great friend and those of us who know you are just a little bit better for it.
It’s wonderful to see all your messages of support. Aaron is my nephew – here in Australia we’re waiting and sending love and support. Brother John (Aaron’s dad) and Megan (Aaron’s sister) are now with him in the hospital after a long trip from NZ.
Love to you all from us here. Get better soon, A.
I’m at a loss for words as the news came to me. Rp put it together perfectly, you have many friends that care for you and I know we will all show our support for you as you have always shown support for us.
We are thinking of you buddy and our thoughts & prayers are there every day. Get well soon.
Aaron,
Really sorry to hear of your crash. You might recall that we met somewhat famously on the front straight at Miller, Utah SBA round 6 MoM GTU. I’m hopeful we’ll get a chance to race together next season, maybe I can stay with you long enough to learn a thing or two. Best wishes on a speedy and complete recovery. Sounds like that may take some time, but just like racing, the healing will go faster if you give it everything you’ve got.
Aaron, Tedi, & Scott,
Thoughts and prayers are with you! We are all here for you.
Aaron, may you be the fastest healing Kiwi ever, cause you are way the coolest.
CJ
To dear Aaron
Our nephew and racing hero!! We love you and send our best wihes for a speedy recovery – we know this will happen as you have great tenacity and strength and sheer guts as you have proved again and again on the race track.
We are keeping in constant touch with brother John(Dad) and send love and all our support to Tedi and brother Scott.
Megan, John and Rae you are all in our thoughts and know you guys will be strong for Aaron and support each other.
Give Aaron a kiss and hug from us here in NZ.
Love Johnny and Les
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aaron, Tedi, Scott, and family. Our wishes are that you have a quick and full recovery. We are sure you will handle it easier than Pueblo’s turn #10 at full throttle.
You’re determined to win and compete on the track, we know you will have the same determination to get back up and spread your Kiwi cheer. We are looking forward to seeing you up and about real soon.
Aaron you are the most incredible nephew anyone can have. Your zest for life scares the living daylights out of me. You will fight this with the total love and devotion of Tedi and Scott helping you all the way (what an incredible pair). Reading all the best wishes on this website shows what an incredible bunch of friends you have – all of which you deserve. You have obviously earned a great deal of respect in the USA which I am sure your Mum, Dad and Megan must be very proud of. We thank Ray for his constant phone calls keeping us up with your progress. Your recovery will take time Aaron but the Kiwi contingent is confident you will beat this. All our love Sue & Rob
Keep up the fight, man. As everyone else had already said, you’re a tough nut! You’ve had quite a few come-from-behind wins before, and you can do it again. We’re pulling for you, along with the whole racing community.
Scotty and Tedi…
Jessica and I have you in our thoughts, and if there’s anything we can do to help, please let us know…
Hey there Big Cousin.. Even though it’s been a very long time since we saw you….You have always been someone for me to look up to and admire..(and envy). Stay strong and show this setback whos Boss!!

Clarkie….don’t really know you but truly hate to see a fellow racer go down. May the healing hand of our Creator lay on you until you are fully recovered. Peace my brother, Woody
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I’m bummed to hear about your accident, but expect you’ll be back on your feet soon. Miss your sense of humour and no b.s. attitude…
Best wishes for Aaron and his family at this time. Praying for his complete recovery from this incident. A well respected competitor as well as a genuine kind friend. May your recovery come as quickly as your talents.
Aaron, my heart sank and I was overwhelmed with sadness to hear that such an incredible rider, and much more importantly, and incredible person, was hurt so badly doing what we all love so much. Aaron, you are in my thoughts and prayers constantly throughout everyday. Tedi and Scott, you guys are truly amazing people and you all have my utmost respect and love. Your kindness and hospitalitly are world class. If there is ever anything I can do to support you, please don’t hesitate to ask. Aaron, I can’t wait for the next time we talk, I know it will be soon. I have never met a more fierce fighter, not just on the track but off.
I have never met you before Aaron but, hearing people that I know who have raced with you makes me think very highly of you. My prayers are with you and your family during this challenging time. Hearing some of your stories makes me deeply believe that you can pull through this.
Hey Clarkie,
Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you a lot. It always makes me smile when I think back to those crazy Aprilia Cup days. That was almost ten years ago, wow, how time flies. You have always been a great friend and help to me.
Thanks,
Josh Bryan
We don’t know each other personally per se, I have volunteered for the UtahSBA at MoM several rounds this year, to help organize the grids. I have watched you line up on pole many a time, and I have not seen a guy at Miller wring everything out of a bike so consistently ever before. We all need you to get better so we have someone to watch and admire, and aspire to be more like. I am glad you had friends around to help you out at the track and give you the chance to come back and ride again. Please, please get better.
It’s no fun to line up for a race when everyone isn’t there! Clarkie, it was always a pleasure to send my Ducs out there to run with you at Loudon. Get well quick and see you at the track soon!
Aaron,
I know of you from our mutual friends and all your impressive accomplishments. I have never met you face to face YET but I am looking forward to doing that and you showing me the fast way around Miller and other tracks.
Get well soon so you can get back to everyone. Take care Aaron!!
I have never met you but have always followed your progress in the MRA. I too rode in the MRA, #654 and also worked corners. We’re all pulling for at the Baker house! Get well completely, and soon! Tedi, Scott and Family – hang in there!
