Thanks so much for the message. I have always had a lot of respect of respect for what you guys and girls do, obviously now I have a lot more even though it isnt my first ride in an ambulace. Please thank the crew that helped me at PPIR and let them know my recovery is going well, a friend of mine here does the similar thing and he said they spend a lot of the time wondering what happened to the people they helped.

I spent a good many hours watching you ride. I am a paramedic and I worked alot of the races in pueblo. I was not there the day that you crashed, but I do know the guys that were there. I am so glad that you are doing well, and I am so glad that my commrades were able to give you the support you required at that critical moment. Best wishes for a full recovery. Hi Aaron, So good to see you posting news for yourself. And talking and eating too. I miss those Kiwi scallops!
I guess by now you are powering ahead with the physio too. We all keep up with the news via the site (thanks, Scott and website masters) and via family emails.
I’ve heard lots about your time in the hospital in Colorado from John (your dad, my brother). I’m sure you know how many hours and days he and Megan were by your bedside, while we all sat on the other side of the world, wishing and hoping. He and Megan have been absolutely amazing, and all of us in the family were so glad that they were able to be with you all that time while you were recovering.
No doubt you are keen to get back to Tedi and your friends in the US. They sound like a great bunch of supporters – you couldn’t want more than so many wonderful mates.
Make the most of your time in NZ, your family love you and support you all the way.
