Surgery complete Monday Oct 20 10pm
Scott sends word that Aaron is just out of surgery, and it apparently went well. He reports that 17 screws were used, including:
- 1 large plate with a bunch of screws
- 1 med plate with several screws
- 1 small plate with 2 screws
I’m sure that sounds as unpleasant to the rest of you as it does to me, especially when I think about him still needing the MRI that Megan was talking about earlier. 
The part that I expect will be most difficult for Clarkie is that it will be 3 months before his hip can be weight bearing. We’ll have to think of ways to keep him entertained in a horizontal position…

Well done little nephew. Very proud of you and all your support team. I guess you are destined for a lifetime of airport scrutiny. Long way to go but keep pushing. It’s been a long day for everyone.
