Status Update Wed 11AM
I’ve been in contact with Scott this morning and have an update to share. As Megan mentioned a few hours ago, Clarkie has been breathing on his own for 24 hours now. The doctors were planning on removing the tube from his throat at 8AM, however his breathing was still a bit erratic so they have left it in place for now as a precautionary measure. The pneumonia fears from earlier have turned out to not be pneumonia but rather the staph infection in his lungs, and they think that are keeping it under control.
Dave Rose went down to visit Clarkie last night, he said there were a ton of visitors and that Clarkie keeps looking better and better every time Dave sees him.

I second what Dave said about Clarkie looking better. I have been down there everyday/night to see him, and keep Tedi, Scott, and his family company, and he does look much better. He has looked better every time, but last night was a much bigger improvement over the previous 4 days.
Keep it up buddy!! You’re doing great!!! Like a true Champion…… I’ll see you tonight.
